Hidden Ponds isn't "just" a breeding farm or "just" a show barn. We believe in promoting our breed and our horses, which means getting out and giving back. Every year, Hidden Ponds participates in several local events.
Hidden Ponds has recently partnered with the Therapeutic riding organization called Reins of Love, located in Isanti, Minnesota! Our broodmares and show horses are being used as therapy tools to help youth with special needs!
Every year, Hidden Ponds volunteers with Polo For Philanthropy to raise money for This Old Horse, a horse rescue in southern Minnesota.
Hidden Ponds also volunteers breed demo horses for the Minnesota State Fair to be displayed on the Isle of Breeds.
Hidden Ponds has an annual youth program, where one new youth from the community is selected each year to learn about showing gypsy horses!
Hidden Ponds also volunteers our young horses for a local high school horsemanship program. This is a class offered through a local high school where youth can learn about working with horses on the ground. It's proven beneficial for our horses and the youth!
Hidden Ponds performs at the Minnesota Horse Expo every year!
So while we do also breed and show, that's not all we are.
Continue to watch our program grow!
