Hidden Ponds Gypsies wants to see more new gypsy owners and for that reason, we are happy to offer payment plans!

Payment plans are as follows:

​

For unweaned foals:

  • 25% down required to hold your foal

  • Payments may be tailored to fit your needs (monthly, weekly, etc)

  • NO boarding due for the entire time your foal is on mom, and for sixty days after

  • Payments available for up to three months after weaning, with an extra $400 due per month after 60 days. This covers boarding, grain, farrier, deworming, and any extra vaccinations. Foals are handled daily and have their own stalls.

  • WE pay insurance through weaning and for 30 days post-weaning. Buyers are responsible for picking up insurance if horse is not paid in full after this time. Buyers are NOT responsible for any vet bills before weaning or for 30 days post weaning (unless vet work is requested by the buyer).

  • Horses may leave once paid in full, but not prior to 1 month post weaning

We GUARANTEE our unweaned foals and offer refunds if there is a major illness or injury prior to or at the time of weaning.

For horses aged 6 months and older:

  • 25% down to hold your horse

  • Payments may be tailored to fit your needs

  • Starting thirty days after the contract is signed, boarding is added at $400/month for mares, geldings, and colts under the age of 2 years, and $600/month for stallions 2 years and older. This covers feed, grain, farrier, deworming, and any extra vaccinations. 

  • Payment plans available for up to 6 months for mares, geldings, and foals under 2 years of age and up to 3 months for stallions aged 2 and older (we do not take payments or allow boarding for broodmares due to foal within the next 3 months)

  • Buyer is responsible for picking up insurance through the duration of the contract. Buyers are responsible for any vet bills during the contract period and after the horse is paid off.

  • Horses may leave once paid in full

For stallions (aged 3+ years old) and bred mares where we retain the foal:

  • 25% down to hold your horse

  • Payments may be tailored to fit your needs

  • Payment term will be discussed and will depend on how long the mare or stallion needs to stay

  • NO boarding is due while mares are pregnant or nursing a foal or while stallions are being used to breed our mares. We give 30 days after weaning or after the stallion is no longer being used for breeding to move the horse if the horse is already paid in full; otherwise, boarding is $600/month for stallions and $400/month for mares while the horse is being paid off. This covers boarding, grain, farrier, deworming, and any extra vaccinations.

  • WE pay insurance for the duration of the period in which we are using the horse for breeding or raising foals. Once the mare has weaned her foal or the stallion has concluded breeding for the year, buyers are responsible for picking up insurance through the rest of the contract if horse is not paid off. Buyers are NOT responsible for any routine or emergency vet bills prior to mares weaning their foals or while we are using a stallion for breeding (unless it is done at the buyer's request). Once foals are weaned and stallions conclude breeding for the year, buyers are responsible for any vet bills.

  • Horses may leave once paid in full and once contract period has ended.
