What to Expect
We take great pride in our horses. Our horses are healthy and happy and are handled daily. As someone who has bought many horses, we know what we like when we buy horses; therefore, we ensure that we represent our horses the way we would like to see all horses represented.

All of our sale horses come with the following:

Current negative coggins

Halter
-
Leadrope
-
Current vaccinations
-
Current deworming
-
Vaccination records
-
Veterinary History
-
Registration papers (if applicable)

Transfer of Ownership form for each registry (if applicable)

Additionally, all of our homebred gypsy foals come with the following:​

Free ownership transfer into the new owner's name (through GVHS) once horse is paid in full or once horse is gelded (per contract)

Veterinary Health Certificate for horses travelling out of Minnesota

Microchipping. All horses bred by Hidden Ponds are microchipped and registered into the national database before they leave.

Foals are GUARANTEED HEALTHY through weaning

No need to purchase insurance! We carry insurance on our foals until such time that they are weaned.

Buy-back: If you are not happy with one of our homebred foals, we will buy it back within two weeks of purchase.​

In addition, any current owner of a foal for which we are the breeder who completes their first GVHS Gold Medallion requirements (Conformation and the discipline of your choice) will be awarded $250 to the current owner on record with the GVHS! Although it is just a small amount for the hard work that goes into making this happen, it is our way of saying “thank you” for believing in our horses.

We offer long- and short-term payment plans on all of our foals. Payment plans have no interest, but foals that need to stay longer than 30 days after weaning will incur a small fee for each additional month to pay for the care associated with keeping the foal at the farm while payments are made. Foals remain at the farm for the duration of time in which payments are made. NOTE: Colts which must stay on the farm longer to heal from the gelding procedure will be boarded free until they are completely healed. No charges for boarding will be incurred between the gelding procedure and for four weeks post gelding. Our vet will not geld prior to six months of age.
